Mobile service to remain suspended on 21st of RamzanOn the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali, Mobile phone service will remain suspended. To deal with any unwanted situation on 21st of Ramzan (i.e. 20th July 2014), Sindh government has announced that mobile phone will remain silent in Karachi. In this regard, provincial government has issued directions to the concerned authorities in different cities of Pakistan.

According to the sources, Sindh government has decided to halt the mobile phone services on 21st of Ramzan from 4 am to 11 pm to avoid any unlikable happening and due to fear of terrorism plan. In the interior Sindh, Pillion Ride has also been halted by the government earlier. Regarding the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali, all arrangements are in concluding stage. Therefore, for the routes on which the possessions are going to be passed through, the interior ministry has settled all security plans.

It is also expected that in Punjab also specifically in Lahore and Rawalpindi, the mobile services are going to be blocked.
