Telenor Pakistan proudly announces the expansion of Telenor 3G network in 45 cities of Pakistan at the end of October 2014. Furthermore, Telenor, on 28th October 2014, announces that the counting of Telenor 3G users have crossed the figure of 1.3 Million in Pakistan.

According to Telenor, Telenor’s 3G services are launched in the following 5 cities of Pakistan during the 5th phase of commercial roll out of Telenor 3G:

  1. Lodhran
  2. Khanewal
  3. Malakand
  4. Rahim Yar Khan
  5. Murree and Nathia Gali

According to Telenor, in few days, Telenor 3G will also reach in the following listed 6 cities of Pakistan:

  1. Lower Dir
  2. Mansehra
  3. Sukkur
  4. Larkana
  5. Ghotki
  6. Bhakkar

Telenor has also announced that in the above listed cities, Telenor free 3G trial will be provided for the period of 2 weeks. About the end the Telenor free3G trial service period, users will be notified by SMS as well as on the official website of Telenor Pakistan. Plus, during free 3G trial, customers will be able to use 50 MBs of free internet data on daily basis. According to the usual plan, internet data will be charged for 2G users.

The Chief Marketing Officer at Telenor Pakistan, Irfan Wahab Khan, on this occasion shared words and said, “Telenor Pakistan is the major and fastest growing 3G network in Pakistan with 1.3 million customers actively using 3G services in urban, semi urban and rural areas across Pakistan. Telenor has a dual strategy to uncompromisingly roll out 3G sites in Pakistan: 1st is to increase the number of 3G sites in a city consequently expanding the in-city coverage and 2nd is to increase the number of 3G cities all over Pakistan”.
