Telenor Pakistan proudly introduces Mobile Connect in collaboration with Telenor Digital and Homeshopping.pk to facilitate its customers. It will be strong step in revolutionizing the digital authentication ecosystem in Pakistan for the intensification of customer experience as well as standardization of digital authentication nationwide.
During the next couple of months, Telenor is planning to run Mobile Connect trials in all Asian markets. To launch Mobile Connect as an industry-standard ID & authentication mechanism, this is component of the global GSMA scheme that will target 1 Billion users during 2016.
What Is Mobile Connect?
- Mobile Connect is a secure log-in solution universally that allows users to get access by logging in to websites and applications quickly by matching them to their mobile phone without any hectic of remembering passwords and usernames etc.
- The open beta trial will help Telenor customers to log in to the Homeshopping mobile and desktop sites simply by clicking to the Mobile Connect button. It means Telenor users are not required to fill any forms or sign up.
- Mobile Connect is a secure way for logging in as it is much more private because user is authenticated only through their mobile phone and no personal information is shared. So there is no risk of giving personal details in wrong hands.
- On both mobile and desktop sites, Using Mobile Connect on Homeshopping.pk is simple and easier. Users will go through a simple mobile number verification before they can log in to the site if they are using Homeshopping.pk on a computer. While if the user is using the mobile site, simply pressing the Mobile Connect button will log the user in to the site without any hurdles.
